Eastern Electrics Festival 2012 lands in London’s Docklands at a new and exciting festival site.

Area 12 is just five minutes’ walk from North Greenwich tube and the O2 complex. Set in its own grounds, it has a huge main stage and the same four tents of underground electronic music from Eastern Electrics that have come before. Area 12 has a unique approach to delivering the next generation, crystal clear sound Eastern Electrics has defined as a core part of its identity. Built around a huge man-made structure with shipping containers at its core Area 12 is able to secure the sort of sound rarely experienced on an urban site.
The space is a fenced outdoor storage area and overfill car park, which will be transformed into London’s latest, innovative festival site. Area 12 is the last undeveloped site on the Greenwich Peninsula and allows an impressive 10,000 capacity for Eastern Electrics Festival.
After four years of innovative lineups, collaborative promotion and rammed events, it was only a matter of time before Eastern Electrics looked forward to their next step, taking the party up a level. With its on point line-up, this will be one of London’s top events this summer.
