This multifaceted DJ and Producer from Mexico has single handedly put his hometown Mexicali B.C. on the map with his many original tracks and remixes. Artists like Art Department, Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, Maceo Plex, to name a few have played Louie’s remixes and songs on many events including shows like Coachella, Winter Music Conference, BPM, Get Lost, DC10, Burning Man, Flying Circus, Circoloco, and South by Southwest.
Along with his epic proiduction ablities that have helped him to chrun out bangers like ‘So Good’, his DJing skills have earned him invites to share the stage or headline events all over the world with the almost every DJ out there, while touring all over Mexico, USA, Canada, Spain, Poland, Germany, Netherlands and Ireland. All of these in less than 3 years.

I want people to get familiar with what I usually play at any given event.

Junior Boys – Like A Child (Carl Craig Remix), this track sends me to another dimension.
What is your favorite track at the moment?
EJ – Mama I’m Gonna Sing (Jamie Jones Remix). I heard Jamie (Jones) drop this badboy at a Robot Heart after party on a private beach in Playa del Carmen and I instantly knew it was his.
What do you have coming up, any new releases due out?
Yeah, the first EP from my upcoming album on No.19 is finally out and climbing up the charts really fast, I’ve also been doing quite a few remixes. I just did one for Little Boots and another one for Nurvous records.
Where can we catch you playing next?
All over the UK and many other countries in Europe, Australia, Africa, many cities here in Mexico, and possibly Brazil. Really excited for this year’s Sonar though. We teamed up with my soul brothers Puente and Rosch to do Digital Delight + MEXA Records showcase this year. We’ll see what happens.
Any artists who you are really interested in at the moment?
My former roommate’s (and one of my best friends), Climbers who just never cease to amaze me. They’re music is getting pretty solid to the point I want to play all of their tunes on my sets.
